In his homily, Father Ralph Argentino provided a concise history of Memorial Day. He told the nearly 400 people who assembled for Mass around the outdoor altar, “we can make a difference on Memorial Day and we have by coming here today.” He shared the short reading, “It is the Soldier” by Charles M.
