Policies
Calvary Catholic Cemetery is a perpetual care cemetery ensuring future maintenance for every burial space without additional costs or assessments. In a continuing effort to preserve the lasting beauty and tranquility of the cemetery grounds, it is necessary to carry out common rules and regulations. We ask for your cooperation in order to keep the cemetery in good appearance.
Burial Grounds
It is permitted but not required that one arrangement of flowers either fresh or silk be placed upon the burial site. The flowers must be placed inside of a bronze vase or plastic container. The combined height of the container and plant should not exceed twenty-four inches. We ask that no arrangements be planted directly in the ground or in glass or ceramic vases.
All seasonal and holiday plants will be removed two weeks following the actual holiday. Any plants deemed unsightly, weathered, or faded will be removed by the maintenance team.
Certain burial site decorations such as enclosures, fencing, stones, mulch, balloons, toys, statues, photos, and cards are not acceptable. Flags should be placed only temporarily and at proper times in keeping with approved national guidelines.
Mausoleums and Columbariums
All of the rules for burial grounds apply. Potted plants should be placed in the properly designated areas and not against crypt fronts. Cards, personal photos, arrangements, statues and personal items will be removed.
