Nearly 300 people were present under clear skies to take part in the celebration of the All Souls’ Day Mass at Calvary Catholic Cemetery on Nov. 2.
Some of the faithful chose open seating to take advantage of Florida’s sunshine while others, below, found areas for prayer and solitude beneath moss draped shade trees.
Msgr. Robert Morris, Vicar General of the Diocese of St. Petersburg, was the celebrant for this year’s Mass with other priests of the diocese concelebrating.

Priests and deacons fanned out around the outdoor altar area to distribute the Blessed Sacrament during communion.
